DESCRIPTION:
TEKNO KOLL BRIGHT WHITE TE is a high-quality cement-based adhesive for professional laying of ceramic and natural stone tiles. Bright white in colour, this premixed adhesive offers high mechanical performance, pure marble dust, special synthetic polymers and special additives. This product may be recycled as an inert once expired.
CLASSIFICATION IN COMPLIANCE WITH EN 12004:
Cementious adhesive for fixing indoor and outdoor class C1 ceramic tiles with a long open time (E) and high slip-resistance (T). When mixed with the synthetic latex TEKNO LATTICE HP in place of water, TEKNO KOLL BRIGHT WHITE TE may be changed according to Directive EN 12002 into a class C2 adhesive, or “deformable adhesive” (class S1) or a “very deformable adhesive” (S2) depending on the concentrations used.
USE:
TEKNO KOLL BRIGHT WHITE TE is a professional, highly workable adhesive, even when very thickly applied, for absorbent ceramic tile laying on flooring and walls. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, on all main materials normally used in construction, cement-based screeds and bases in plaster, gypsum or screed-ready ANTEMASS L. This product is particularly suitable for uneven bases or non-perpendicular walls since it spreads up to 10mm thick without dripping. For tub or outdoor pools, cement-based waterproofing such as SUPERELASTIK, laying large-size materials, on under-floor heating surfaces and whenever stronger adhesion or greater deformability is required, mix TEKNO KOLL BRIGHT WHITE TE with synthetic latex TEKNO LATTICE HP to ensure conformity to the requirements in Directive EN 12002 for class C2 “improved adhesive” and class S2 “very deformable adhesive”, or alternatively S1 (deformable adhesive) depending on dilution. NOT FOR USE ON:
wood, metal, linoleum, PVC, rubber, non-rigidly fixed panels, precast concrete panels or smooth surfaces. On worn ceramic flooring, exclusively use TEKNO GRIP TE or TEKNO GRIP MAXI.
CONSUMPTION:
Depending on the flatness of the substrate and the shape of the tiles to be applied: 4 or 6 mm spatula approximately 2.5 to 3.5 kg / m²; using an 8 or 10 mm spatula 3.5 to 6 kg / m². Consider approx. 1.30 kg / m² per mm of adhesive used.
